The Architectural Practice Course (APC) is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare candidates for the Professional Practice Examination (PPE), a requirement for enrolment with the Board of Architects (BOA). This mandatory course blends theoretical principles with practical knowledge, offering a well-rounded foundation for aspiring architects. The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to integrate the current PPE syllabus with insights drawn from the real-world experience and expertise of the instructors.
While primarily tailored for PPE candidates, the Architectural Practice Course (APC) also serves as a valuable resource for architects seeking to update and refine their professional knowledge, staying informed about the latest developments in the field.
The course will run weekly from May to October, comprising 20 evening sessions and 4 in-person tutorial classes, with a total duration of 70 hours. The Intro & Briefing session will be conducted in-person, while the remaining 19 evening sessions will be held online. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory, as each is crucial for preparing candidates for the PPE.
In APC2025, selected sessions will utilize a blended learning delivery mode. This strategic approach combines the advantages of traditional in-person instruction with the flexibility and convenience of online resources, enriching the overall learning experience.
